It's looking more like Apple(s AAPL) is going to be dropping the numerical naming scheme of its iPad lineup. Multiple news outlets are reporting hearing from sources that what Apple unveils on Wednesday will be called iPad HD. CNET and VentureBeat both reported the product name news on Monday.
The HD moniker would make sense as a way to call out what is supposed to be the most important new feature of this version of the iPad, its high-definition display, or Retina display, as Apple calls the 2048 x 1536 resolution on the iPhone.
They could call it iPoo and I would still be excited to see it. Lol :-) Good read.
