We’ve been playing games for years and we all agree that the Tomb Raider series has been one of great pleasure and great disappointment during that time. However it has brought more joy than sadness to our lives. To see that IGN felt this new installment deserved a score of 9.1 and compared it to Drake and the Uncharted series really makes it worthy of a purchase so once again we can experience the Tomb Raider love with Lara Croft. Crystal Dynamics looks like it pulled it off and the wait may have been worth it producing a title that will make for some great adventure. The game looks beautiful and the action looks like it will surely get the pulse jumping a few notches along the way. Can’t wait to try this game out!
I really enjoy these since I don’t get all of these stations and I get to see all the great stuff I would have missed out on. Kudos to the person that compiled this collection. Some of these are freaking hilarious! Yes, it’s a bit long but it’s worth sitting through.
Love watching old Politically Correct snippets on YouTube. Was looking around for some George Carlin and came across this one with this lobbyist that the whole group pounces on.
I thought hmmm… wonder what this guy has been up to lately, I found this on the Huffington Post.
Horace Cooper Pleads Guilty: Former Labor Department Official Caught Up In Abramoff Scandal
When Cooper was chief of staff for the Employment Standards Administration, he was required by law to report any such gifts. An indictment alleges he took expensive meals, concert tickets and sports tickets.
Abramoff was sentenced in September 2008 to four years in prison on charges of mail fraud, conspiracy and tax evasion. Since pleading guilty in 2006, the once-powerful lobbyist has cooperated with the federal investigation of influence peddling in Washington.
What a complete tool. Using the public forum for personal gain. Oh wait, that’s common practice, Horace just got caught.
After 10 years, 1,378 episodes and 6 different sets over 2 cities… Damn I’m really going to miss this show! X-Play guided us toward some of the best games and guided us down the path of gaming bliss when the level up was all that. Adam with his dry comedy, detailed reviews and Morgan with her ever changing styles and great humor that started it all. Oh and Morgan is really hot and plays so that is huge on the AWESOME chart. Also Blair and Kristen fit in nicely as time went by. If you’re a gamer then you’ll get it and if not maybe just check out a video or two.
For all the times you saved us from buying a really shitty game. The times you gave honest opinions of the work from the developers we have grown to love and hate along the way. The skits and parodies that made us laugh. The over the top segments that looked awkward but you still did them. X-Play was a great place to get info on the latest jewels or absolute turds that the industry put out for us to enjoy or wanted to burn with a blow torch. It brings us comfort that we can watch past videos online but the gaming world just won’t be the same without new content.
Instead of NBCUniversal leading the way they just handed the reins over to IGN. So to the executive that made that decision you can suck it hard! Good thing we love IGN!
Thanks for the good times along the way!
Xplay says goodbye!
And of course Adam.
